Many of you might know of the agency that was Federation of Organizations. It is one of the larger mental health and substance abuse agencies on Long Island. They are still in existence, but have recently changed their name. They are now:
RiseWell Community Services
They offer everything that their former agency offered but have also enhanced their services. Please take a look at this listing when on shift. They offer mental health care, substance abuse services, transitional housing, children’s services, senior services, financial services, psychiatric evaluations and more! They serve all of Long Island and the city, too, although, the majority of services are located in Suffolk County.
