Hi Everyone,
As of 12/1/24, our New York State HIV/STI/HCV Hotline, a/k/a the H-Line, will only be answered from 9am-7pm Monday-Friday and 10am-2pm on Saturdays. This line will not be staffed on Sundays and holidays moving forward. These updated hours can be found within the referral, which is listed in Infobase as “The H-Line/NY HIV Hotline“.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this resource, the H-Line came to LICC in 2019 and has been entirely staffed by specially trained counselors who answer questions about HIV, Hepatitis C, and other STIs. This line also has a separate database of referrals that cover all of New York State for anyone who is looking for testing, housing, or treatment services for HIV/STIs. Additionally, the H-Line has a special program where NYS residents can request safer sex supplies to be sent to their home. Clients can reach the H-Line by phone (in English and Spanish), chat/text, and Facebook messenger.
