For our Seinfeld fans out there, you might recall when Elaine had to get a new area code (646) but she refused to say it was a new number. In the same token, we have a changed referral but not a NEW referral.
A few months ago, I had added Bright Futures to our database. This is a good resource for those under age 21 who need Home Based Services. Frank had included it in a referrals newsletter. This is to inform you that they changed their name. The NEW name is:
Yeled LI and their website is yeledli.org. You can locate this under “Home-Based Services” amongst other categories. This is a good referral for children who are experiencing severe behavioral issues where they need services in the home, or for medically fragile children who need case management, etc.
Again, please refer to Yeled LI for those types of programs and disregard the former name. Please familiarize yourself with all the services they offer.
